We believe in the power of mushrooms to turn the lights back on.

Even in smaller doses, psilocybin has an incredible ability to awaken you to the awesomeness of daily consciousness. Hello world, we are Muse.

  • What is Microdosing?
Microdosing involves taking small, sub-perceptual doses of psychedelics such as psilocybin mushrooms on a periodic basis. Unlike full doses that induce profound alterations in perception and consciousness, microdoses are typically one-tenth to one-fifth of a recreational dose, aiming to produce subtle effects without hallucinations or significant alterations in reality.
  • What is the difference between MICRO by Muse and FLOW by Muse?
Both MICRO and FLOW contain the SAME amount of 125mg of psylocibin per capsule. The difference is: -MICRO is pure psilocybin without any added ingredients. -FLOW is same amount of psilocybin PLUS added ingredients like Lions Mane Heart, Theobromine (cacao), Niacin (flush free), Ashwagandha, L-Theanine, Alpha- GPC and Trimethyglycine. -The added ingredients in FLOW helps facilitate the psilocybin throughout the body and elevate the effects. -Both FLOW & MICRO can be taken separately and/or together. When taken together you are increasing the amount of psilocybin dosage without adding more of the added ingredients in FLOW.
  • Potential benefits of Microdosing
Potential Benefits of Microdosing 1. Enhanced Creativity: Many proponents of microdosing report heightened creativity and problem-solving abilities. By modulating serotonin receptors and increasing neuroplasticity, microdosing may facilitate novel connections and insights, leading to enhanced creativity and innovation. 2. Mood Enhancement: Microdosing has been associated with improvements in mood, emotional regulation, and overall well-being. Psychedelics like psilocybin have shown promise in alleviating symptoms of depression, anxiety, and PTSD by promoting neurogenesis and fostering a sense of interconnectedness and empathy. 3. Increased Focus and Productivity: Some individuals find that microdosing enhances focus, concentration, and productivity. By modulating dopamine receptors and promoting neural connectivity, microdosing may sharpen cognitive function, enhance task performance, and sustain mental clarity throughout the day. 4. Heightened Mindfulness and Presence: Microdosing has been likened to a "gentle nudge" towards greater mindfulness and presence. By quieting the default mode network and reducing rumination, microdosing may facilitate a deeper sense of awareness, acceptance, and inner peace. 5. Neuroplasticity and Learning: Psychedelics have been shown to promote neuroplasticity—the brain's ability to reorganize and adapt in response to new experiences. Microdosing may enhance synaptic plasticity, learning, and memory consolidation, paving the way for personal growth and self-discovery. More Potential Benefits: Heightened focus, creativity, productivity, and energy. Decreased anxiety, depression, or stress. Less social anxiety. Reduced menstrual pain. Emotional openness. Increased spiritual awareness. Reduced cravings for addictive substances. educed anxiety and depression stabilized mood enhanced creativity regeneration of visual and auditory neurons reduced irritability relief from PTSD symptoms reduced incidence of neuropathy increased ability to socialize, empathize, and feel courageous mediated effects of aging on the brain enhanced self-awareness greater sense of interconnection Before embarking on a microdosing regimen, it's essential to consider the following: 1. Dosage and Safety: Microdosing requires precise dosing and careful titration to minimize risks and maximize benefits. Start with a low dose and gradually adjust as needed, paying close attention to any changes in mood, cognition, or physiology. 2. Set and Setting: The context in which you microdose can profoundly influence your experience. Create a supportive environment free from distractions and stressors, and approach microdosing with intention, respect, and reverence. 3. Integration and Reflection: Integrate your microdosing experiences through journaling, meditation, or therapy to gain insights, integrate lessons, and cultivate self-awareness. Reflect on your experiences and adjust your approach accordingly based on your individual needs and goals. In conclusion, microdosing holds promise as a potential tool for enhancing cognition, creativity, and well-being. While research on microdosing is still in its infancy, anecdotal reports and preliminary studies suggest that microdosing may offer a pathway to personal growth, self-discovery, and holistic wellness. As with any intervention, approach microdosing with caution, curiosity, and an open mind, and remember that individual experiences may vary.
  • What is the different dosage between a MICRO and MACRO dose?
The difference is the amount of psilocybin that is consumed. It is important to understand that there is a 1000milligram (aka mg) per gram (aka g). Please chart below and compare to the product you are considering.
  • Can I still perform my daily tasks while microdosing ?
Yes, not only can you perform your regular daily tasks, but we encourage it. Microdosing is extremely subtle, you should experience zero physical high or any kind of psychedelic effects. We like to describe it like when you’re watching the news and you notice the the ticker running across the bottom of the screen. The distraction of the ticker can make extremely hard to concentrate on what you are watching. Microdosing turns the ticker off in our brain. This quiet allows for heightened focus, overall better mood, less anxiety, less repetitive thought and more presence
  • How often should I microdose? Is there a certain protocol or schedule that I should follow?
A microdosing protocol outlines the recommended approach to microdosing, specifying the ideal quantity of psilocybin to take, when to take it, and what to accompany your dose. In essence, it serves as a structured regimen for ingesting minute, sub-perceptual quantities of psychedelics. There are several ways to microdose and they are all correct depending on the person microdosing and their intentions. The two prominent microdosing protocols are associated with James Fadiman, Ph.D., and Paul Stamets. New microdosers often choose one of these well-established protocols as a safe starting point to collect personal data and assess their experiences. Keeping detailed records of dosage, timing, and effects can provide insight and lead to an intuitive approach to microdosing. Please find below the most common ways to microdose and pick what you think would be best for you. There is no wrong way to microdose, only what works best for you. Fadiman Protocol: To avoid building up a tolerance to your dose, which decreases effectiveness, Dr. Fadiman recommends a regimen of one day on and two days off. This approach means you take a dose on day 1, no dose on day 2 and day 3. Take a dose on day 4 and so forth. The idea is to take a 2 day break in between microdoses. The Stament Stack: The Stamets Stack, introduced by the well-known mycologist Paul Stamets, is becoming increasingly popular as a microdosing protocol. Stamets, an author of six mushroom-related books, gained further recognition through his appearance in the 2019 Netflix documentary "Fantastic Fungi" and is considered to be an expert in the field of mycology and one of today's leading researchers in the mycology field. Stamets' microdosing protocol encompasses three key components: a microdose of psilocybin mushrooms, Lion's Mane mushrooms, and niacin. This protocol is tailored to boost cognitive function and bestow a multitude of benefits linked to neurogenesis. Microdosing Intuitively: As with all protocols, they are great to get you started. At one point you will start to microdose intuivitely, and only microdose on days when needed.
  • When is the best time to microdose?
We suggest taking your microdose in the morning like you would take any other supplement. You can also microdose in the evening for social recreational purposes but please keep in mind that this can keep you awake later than expected.
  • Top 10 Tips for Microdosing
    1. Stay consistent with your selected protocol for a minimum of four to eight or ten weeks. 2. It's best to microdose in the morning to avoid potential disruptions to your regular sleep patterns. 3. Keep a detailed microdosing journal, including specifics about your diet, activities, any alcohol or drug use, and over-the-counter medications. Record details about the dose, time taken, results, and any concerns. 4. Audit your day . At the end of the day, take time to reflect on your day within the journal, noting any changes in ease, benefits experienced, and challenges encountered. 5. Begin with a minimal dose for a few days. If necessary, make adjustments to the amount up or down for another few days. Continuously adjust the dose until you achieve the desired results. 6. Start each day by setting a clear intention. 7. Once you've taken the microdose, avoid dwelling on whether it's working. Instead, focus on your day. However, remember to evaluate your day at the end and jot down your observations. 8. Allow your chosen protocol and dose sufficient time to take effect. Avoid rushing the process. 9. Try incorporating conscious activities like meditation, breathwork into your life. 10. Look into established macrodosing protocols like the Fadiman and Stamets protocols.
  • Can I microdose while on medication?
